Andy, Jordy’n Ben.
Interesting. I just watched a couple of Andrew Tate youtubes. A weeny fellow. A bald Jordan Peterson. A brown Ben Shapiro. The perfect modern fake. What grievance, tell me, do young white men have, in the world? That they did not invent for themselves? A personal whine. It’s not supposed to be easy: you are not being oppressed. Only your unmerited advantages have been challenged, at last, and yes, you are weak, but it is no-one’s fault but your own. It is true you will get busted, like Tate, for behaving like a caveman. Unless you are a Trump. But that is the extent, the apex of your manhood, because you crawled up, you did not grow up, in the pale shade of relativity. You never became a man. Even the word sounds fraudulent. “Be a man.” You are one, be you: a recipe for disaster in this civilization.
You became a copy, and a poor one at that. So the constant need of heroes: Dads, bosses, Jesus, his dad. You never stood against the storm, you huddled in the basement of conceit. You pray in public so you can be seen praying. You have nothing that is your own. Sad.
There is a tradition of men not like these frauds. They are not around anywhere anymore. When Jim Brown passes they will be all gone. Mike Pence and Ben will be left at the helm, odin help us.
I knew a few when I was growing up. But they are gone now. Tate, as I said, fills a void that has been left in the absence of a deeper alternative. Boys need something growing up.
A friend told me the other day he went to watch his nephew wrestle. His brother, the boys father showed no interest. The nephew is 18. I thought, immediately, he doesn’t need his father there. That is mistaken gestural fathering. He needs to wrestle on his own. He is in the world alone. And it is a beautiful place. At 18. We learn alone. By 18 we should be venturing forth, finding our way. No gurus needed. No mentors. Why we need Petersons and Tates to give our grievances a local habitation and a name is the sickness. Alex Jones, Shapiro, Peterson. They are all right wingers. Younger than 18 the boy is in the garden, alone, making himself. Something must be weakening him to make Tate necessary. What is that? Thats where I’d start. I trained in kung fu. With a Chinese master. Learned how to walk, how to fight but more how to walk so I seldom needed to fight. Shapiro and Peterson can’t even walk. They are puny men with whom the Right wing identify. They are the puny Hitlers of the soul.
